Ongoing care & support

I look after the WordPress sites and automations I build once they're live, so they stay secure, up to date and working the way they should. Every plan is quoted around your site specifically, not sold off a shelf. If something breaks, you're talking to the person who built it, not a helpdesk.

What you get

Every plan I put together is based on what your site actually needs, not a fixed package. Here’s what that typically covers:

Updates & patching

WordPress core, themes and plugins kept current, tested before anything goes live rather than applied blind. Most sites that break do so because something was left out of date.

Backups & monitoring

Regular backups stored away from the site itself, plus uptime and security monitoring, so I know about a problem before you do.

Priority support time

A set amount of time each month set aside for small changes, fixes or content updates, with priority response if something breaks.

Bespoke, quoted plans

No two sites carry the same risk or workload, so no two plans cost the same. I quote each one around your site once I know what it needs.

Why this matters

Most of the sites I’m called in to rescue haven’t been touched in a year or more. By the time it’s noticeable — a broken layout, a hacked site, a plugin conflict taking the whole thing down — the fix costs more than a year of care would have. A retainer is cheaper than an emergency, and it means the person fixing it already knows your site.

Who this is for

If I built your site, or I’ve worked on it and know how it’s put together, a care plan keeps it in the state I handed it over in. If you’re coming to me cold with a site I haven’t touched before, I’ll usually start with a short audit so any plan I quote is based on what’s actually there, not guesswork.

How pricing works

Every retainer is quoted individually once I know what the site needs. There’s no set monthly fee published here, because a fair price depends on the work involved, not a flat rate that overcharges simple sites and undercharges complex ones.
