Ongoing care & support
I look after WordPress sites and automations once they're live, whether I built them or not, so they stay secure, up to date and working the way they should. I'll also plan a content calendar with you and publish your posts and pages, fully prepared for search engines, if you'd like help keeping your site current. Plans start from £75 a month, and if something breaks, you're talking to the person who looks after your site, not a helpdesk.
Every plan covers the essentials below, with more time and attention on the higher tiers.
Updates & patching
WordPress core, themes and plugins kept current, tested before anything goes live rather than applied blind. Most sites that break do so because something was left out of date.
Backups & monitoring
Regular backups stored away from the site itself, plus uptime and security monitoring, so I know about a problem before you do.
Form testing
Your contact and enquiry forms tested every month, so messages don’t go missing without anyone noticing.
Priority support time
On Professional and Partner plans, a set amount of time each month set aside for small changes, fixes or content updates, with priority response if something breaks.
Content scheduling and publishing
I don’t write content for clients, but I’ll help you plan a content calendar, and upload and publish your posts and pages as part of your retainer if you’d rather not handle this yourself. Each piece goes live properly prepared, with images resized and optimised for fast loading, Yoast SEO titles and meta descriptions completed, and categories and featured images set.
Having someone outside your organisation keeping track of the calendar, and prompting you when content is due, helps keep new material appearing on your site at a steady pace.
If your content needs images, I also run a commercial photography service, C/D Photography, quoted separately from your retainer.
Bespoke, quoted plans
No two sites carry the same risk or workload, so no two plans cost the same. I quote each one around your site once I know what it needs.

Larger or more complex sites, such as membership, e-commerce or multisite installations, are quoted individually after a site audit.
Why this matters
Most of the sites I’m called in to rescue haven’t been touched in a year or more. By the time it’s noticeable — a broken layout, a hacked site, a plugin conflict taking the whole thing down — the fix costs more than a year of care would have. A retainer is cheaper than an emergency, and it means the person fixing it already knows your site.
Who this is for
Your site doesn’t need to be one I built. If you’re coming to me with a site I haven’t touched before, I start with a site audit, so any plan I quote is based on what’s actually there, not guesswork.
If I built your site, or I’ve worked on it and know how it’s put together, there’s no audit to pay for, and a care plan keeps your site in the state I handed it over in.
How pricing works
The prices above are starting points, and cover most business, charity and membership sites. Larger or more complex sites are quoted individually after a site audit, so a simple site isn’t overcharged and a complex one isn’t underpriced. I’m not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to any price.
- No lock-in: plans run month to month, with one month’s notice to cancel.
- Annual option: pay for a year upfront and get two months free, with the site audit included.
- Charities: registered charities receive 10% off any plan.
- Your hosting stays yours: I work on your existing hosting, provided the hosting meets basic standards. If the hosting holds your site back, I’ll recommend alternatives and handle the move.
- Hours: included hours cover changes, fixes, content publishing and support. Unused hours don’t roll over, and extra work is charged at £75 Essential, £65 Professional and £60 Partner an hour.
- Changing plan: move up or down at the start of any month.
